Before you set off to visit us, we’ve put together all the practical information you might need. You’ll find out where to park, how to get the keys, where to take out the rubbish, what the Wi-Fi is, and where to enjoy great food in the neighbourhood. If anything is unclear, don’t hesitate to call — we’re here for you.

Arrival and parking

You can park directly on the open garden right next to the house — your car will sit comfortably just a few steps from the entrance. We’ve marked the exact spot with arrows in the photo below to make it easy.

Keys and check-in

At the front gate you’ll find a code-protected key safe. On the day of your arrival we’ll send you an SMS with the code to open the safe and pick up the keys. When you leave, please return the keys back into the safe, close it and scramble the digits — that way the safe stays locked for the next guest.

Online check-in before arrival

Instead of paper registration cards, we use a simple online check-in. We’ll send you the link by e-mail before your arrival — please fill it in before you set off. It saves us time so we can focus on what matters most — your comfort.

Wi-Fi

TV and Netflix

On the TV in the living room you’ll find regular channels as well as Netflix, which is already signed in under our account. Just pick a film or series and enjoy.

A small tip in the kitchen

The light under the kitchen counter is touch-activated. We’d rather mention it right away — some guests have struggled with it at first.

Rubbish

Mixed waste: the bin is right by the house, in the garden. Please put all rubbish in a bag. Collection: every Monday. If your stay ends on a Sunday or later, please pull the bin from the garden over to Bistro u Švandů on Sunday evening — the exact place is shown in the photos below (the bin belongs to the fence right next to the bistro, under the road sign).

Sorted waste: the containers can be found below the municipal office. We kindly ask you to sort your rubbish — it helps not only the bin space but, more importantly, the nature around us.

Bistro u Švandů — neighbours right next door

Right next to the cottage you’ll find Bistro u Švandů, where you can buy fresh bakery and other basic groceries — or order lunch or dinner directly. You can eat in the bistro or bring the food on a plate back to the cottage. Especially handy on the first evening when you don’t feel like cooking.

Departure

Please end your stay by 10:00 AM. Before you leave, just a few small things:

• close the water taps, shut the windows, switch off appliances and turn off the lights
• lock the cottage
• return the keys back into the code safe at the front gate, close it and scramble the digits so it stays locked
